Palm Beach Apartments

This project involved 23 affodable units over three storeys. The ‘U’ shaped arrangement maximises sun penetration and creates a communal courtyard. As a standard feature, climatically responsive elements such as eaves and awnings are incorporated, and extensive screening provides privacy, security, solar and storm protection while maximising desirable ocean views.

Aris Apartments

Bowen St Townhouses

Forest Lake provides an urban solution to retirement living, with apartments and ground level residences integrated in the planning of the facility. A linear water course garden anchors the landscape concept which has been developed to contrast with the urban built forms.

Topsy Smith Hostel

The Topsy Smith Hostel in Alice Springs is designed to accommodate Indigenous patients receiving medical treatment. The 22-bedroom motel style development uses materials, finishes and colours familiar to he patients. It includes a manager’s flat, commercial kitchen, laundry, dining, lounge, administration and reception facilities.

Galawu Hostel

Galawu Hostel is a secure two-storey complex providing support accommodation for approximately forty residents and on site staff. There is a full commercial kitchen, dining, administration, lounges, laundry, and reception.
This project incorporates materials, colours and scale which is familiar to the indigenous clientele using the facility.

Batchelor Pad
