These townhouses were designed to integrate into the fabric of West End with the existing 1920′s residence retained in the streetscape of Montague Road. The three storey townhouses provide north/south orientation with an independent living space above the entry level. All townhouses have been designed to maximise cross ventilation and minimise heat. The high level of finishes and careful orientation of each unit provides excellent amenity for residents and visitors.

This dated ‘six pack’ residential building was renovated to be competitive with newer construction in the rental market. A complete internal refurbishment was undertaken, with the existing three two bed units in the second floor converted to two three-bed units. Existing Juliet balconies were removed and new balconies now provide more than double the initial living area space.

The design for this 5 block 29-unit affordable housing project allowed for a comparatively high density development to sit comfortably within a residential low-density streetscape.

This 15 hectare site in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane currently accommodates 175 units with another 75 proposed under construction. The retirements living department in a previous quarry site features a large community centre and hostel. The steep topography of the site has presented significant challenges in the design of retirement facilities and has resulted in the production of unique and innovative variety of accommodation.
