The Century zinc mine site incorporates Darimah Village, which is composed of 450 residential units and a central facilities building, fuel storage facilities, and vehicle/equipment storerooms. This project provided a number of alternative accommodation types for the workforce. The control of overland flow and subsequent erosion was controlled in the design of redial pathways across contours which dispersed water-flow and trapped silt. The village also provides numerous sporting facilities including multi-purpose courts, an oval, a gym and pool.

These accommodation facilities represent a new attitude to permanent mining camps in remote areas, essentially serving as the living room, dining room, kitchen, and recreation room for 180 people. While the building has attributes of a central complex for a hotel it additionally incorporates design elements which relate to a residential lifestyle.

This industrial development extended an existing steel fabrication factory to incorporate a nine-metre clear height warehouse facility. The site of the building utilises an operable wall system that allows twenty metre long access for unloading of semi-trailers and high-bodied trucks in an undercover situation.
