MODE DESIGN have been designing for tropical climates in Australia since 1994.
Due to the harsh climatic conditions of these areas, we have devised techniques which provides maximum comfort for End Users to ensure buildings in tropical climates are more ‘livable’. Climatic variations in tropical areas require responsive design solutions to cope with the extreme weather experienced. Architectural elements and material selection should complement these conditions which can vary from harsh, dry heat to extreme monsoonal seasons and cyclones.
The end result are robust buildings that provide a high level of security and comfort for its occupants.
